Origen and Terroir
Tasting menu with wine pairing at the Perelada winery
The two tasting menus at Celler 1923: what each one includes, what they cost with and without wine pairing, and why dishes can’t be swapped.

Menú Terroir
Menú Terroir: €52, or €78 with wine pairing
The Menú Terroir opens with the 1923 salad — lettuce, sweet potato, apple, asparagus and quail’s egg — followed by half a sea bass with romesco or braised veal cheek with minestrone, and finishes with Toni Gerez’s cheese board or mató with honey. The sommelier chooses each glass and talks you through it, so you don’t need to know about wine to follow the pairing.

The dish both menus share
Veal cheek with seasonal vegetable minestrone
Veal cheek slow-cooked and served with a minestrone of seasonal vegetables; you’ll find it on both the Menú Origen and the Menú Terroir.

Menú Origen
Menú Origen: €38, or €55 with wine pairing
The Menú Origen starts with the 1923 salad, then white and black botifarra, Cal Tomàs cured sausage and Casa Batallé Duroc ham, coca bread with hanging tomatoes, salt cod empedrat, and squid stuffed with mussels or veal cheek, finishing with crème caramel and whipped cream. Water, coffee and glasses of Perelada Stars Brut Nature, 5 Finques Blanc and 5 Finques Negre are included.
