Inside the Perelada winery
Eating at the Perelada winery, among the vines by the castle
Celler 1923 is the estate's own restaurant, not a place near the winery: you eat inside it.

The estate from above
A dining room inside the winery, not a restaurant next door
Celler 1923 occupies the old farmhouse of the Perelada estate, at the entrance, next to Peralada Castle. The winery buildings — the new, partly underground winery and the original farmhouse — are surrounded by the estate's own vineyards: eating here means sitting among real vines, not looking at them from outside.

How the table works
Set menu, served at a long shared table
Much of the dining room is laid out as one long table shared with other guests, under vaulted ceilings and arches looking out onto the garden. The cooking is from the Empordà, with culinary direction by Paco Pérez, served as set menus built dish by dish around the house wines, with the sommelier talking you through each pairing glass by glass. The wines poured are the estate's own: the house list includes Perelada Gran Claustro and Finca La Garriga.
